Galway United v Finn Harps (7.45)
Both sides have done a bit of recruiting since Harps won 4-0 down here a few games short of the end of last season and United will be hoping that, with their new men on board, things will be very different this time around.
Don O'Riordan has a few problems going into this evening's game, however, with Billy Clery and Darragh Sheridan suspended, Tom Silke still away in America and new boys Nigel Keady and Bobby Ryan amongst those facing late fitness tests.
The big concern for the home side remains the lack of a big man up front and O'Riordan is still looking to make a signing in that department over the coming few weeks. "The suspensions are a bit of a pain, there's no doubt about that, but the thing now is just to get going which everybody is anxious to do."
Harps have a few players (Fergal Harkin, Shane Bradley and Paddy McGrenaghan) carrying knocks too, but Gavin Dykes expects to have a full squad to choose from.
That means Alex Nesovic will make his competitive debut up front alongside James Mulligan. Dykes will, as he intends to as often as he can this year, observe proceedings from the sidelines.
