Without Pascal Vaudequin and Mark Hutchison, who have gone on loan to Bohemians and Shelbourne respectively, tonight's second round game could prove tricky for Harps even against a side who are struggling at the wrong end of the First Division. Manager Gavin Dykes has Johnny Kenny back from the flu, while JP Boyle has been pulled out of this evening's friendly youth international to play in defence.
The Dublin club are likely to be without Kevin Brady (groin), Derek Gill (suspended) and Mark Mulraney (cuptied). Midfielder Peter Rogers, who played against St Francis on Friday, wasn't signed from Bohemians in time to feature this evening. Mick Lawlor's main worry (aside from the fact that he might arrive to find the game called off again) is that left-sided midfielder Keith O'Brien will miss the game due to work commitments.
