Portmarnock v Dundalk (Tolka Park, 7.30)
Both sides are just happy this game finally goes ahead after all the wrangling following the original postponement.
Junior Cup holders Portmarnock have returned from a holiday in Spain, the prize for winning their league last season, a trip manager Johnny Hayes believes was good for team bonding.
With Junior player-of-the-year Keith Breun and Christian Carolan back from injury, Hayes has a full squad.
First division leaders Dundalk have problems, mainly in central defence, with both Donal Broughan and now Aaron Callaghan suspended.
Leading scorer Martin Reilly (groin) and David Hoey (ankle) picked up knocks in Sunday's draw at St Francis while Liam Dunne is still struggling with a knee injury.
Referee: J Breen (Dublin).
Betting: Home: 7/2; Draw: 12/5; Away: 4/6.
Winners at home to St Patrick's Athletic or Longford in quarter-finals.
Third round replay
St Patrick's Ath v Longford Town (Richmond Park, 7.45)
"The pendulum may have swung in St Pat's favour, but it is not a dead tie by any means," says Longford manager Stephen Kenny.
With striker Keith O'Connor out for another fortnight with a neck strain, Kenny will hope Shay Zellor recovers from flu to allow him the option of playing an attacking 43-3 line-up, though he will wait until he sees the condition of the Richmond Park surface before deciding.
St Patrick's, with just two defeats in 27 games and fresh from Friday's 4-1 win over Shelbourne, are without Willie Burke (toe) and Michael Holt (ankle). Colm Foley and Paul Osam are fit after hamstring and groin injuries respectively.
Referee: R O'Hanlon (Waterford).
Betting: Home: 4/7; Draw: 9/4; Away: 9/2.
Winners away to Portmarnock or Dundalk in quarter- finals.
National League Premier Division
Kilkenny City v Finn Harps (Buckley Park, 7.45)
Ironically, Finn Harps must guard against complacency at Buckley Park against a side already all but relegated.
Five successive draws, including games against Shelbourne, Bohemians and Shamrock Rovers, suggest Harps are in a false position second from bottom.
"We should have got more from these last five games and didn't," said manager Jonathan Speak. "But we're playing well and must maintain our good current form. Our downfall in the past has been not performing against the teams down beside us. We must make sure that doesn't happen."
Midfielder Tom Mohan (dead leg) is added to Harps' casualty list along with Neil Fitzhenry (calf) and goalkeeper Gareth Downey (knee). Johnny Kenny has a slight back strain but expects to be fit to play.
Kilkenny's season rests on Saturday's FAI Cup quarter-final with Bohemians so motivation for league games is manager Joe McGrath's main concern.
Captain Gavin Wilkinson is suspended while Richie Purdy and Brian Jackson are out with a virus and Dave Mulcahy is still out with a knee injury.
Last two seasons: 1999/2000: Did not meet. 2000/2002: Finn Harps 1 Kilkenny City 1.
Current league form: Kilkenny: L D L L L; Finn Harps: D D D D D.
Leading league scorers: Kilkenny City: Carter, McAreavey, McGrath, Mulcahy, Parkes, Rocha (one each); Finn Harps: S Bradley (four).
Referee: J Casey (Waterford).
Betting: Home: 7/4; Draw: 9/4; Away: 5/4.
First Division: Monaghan United v Sligo Rovers (Gortakeegan, 7.30).
