VS All-Ireland Final/Tyrone 3-8 Cork 1-12: All-Ireland Vocational Schools football champions Tyrone needed extra-time to retain their title in a thrilling final at Newbridge.
The defending champions led by 3-2 to 0-8 at half-time, but Cork were right back in it with a converted penalty 10 minutes into the second half.
Two late frees brought Cork level and, despite having corner back James O'Donovan sent off, the Rebels held on to send the game into extra-time.
Tyrone shaded the first period - Brian McKenna and Philip Toner helping them to a 3-7 to 1-12 advantage - and John Gilmore hit the only score of the final period.
