Women's final/ Tyrone 1-10; Monaghan 1-6: Tyrone regained the Ulster senior football title from holders Monaghan in Clones yesterday.
Between the ninth and 26th minutes Tyrone hit a goal and five points without reply to open a seven-point gap, Maeve McGurk scoring the goal in the 16th minute.
With Tyrone leading at half-time by 1-6 to 0-3, the second half was more finely balanced after Brenda McAnespie scored a goal, which for a time reduced Tyrone's lead to two points.
