With last year's nightmare behind them, UCD will be happy to start afresh although budgetary restraints have prevented the Belfield management from spending a lot this summer.
A few of the established faces, most notably Ciaran Kavanagh, have gone and the hope is that the couple of new signings will help to steady the ship. Finishing one place above the play-offs would make for a good season.
