UCD overcame NUI Galway by 4-15 to 2-16 after extra-time at Dolla, Nenagh, yesterday.

The teams went in at the interval level, 2-3 to 1-6.

Normal time ended with the sides level at 2-12 to 3-9. In extratime Paul Doheny goaled to copperfasten victory for UCD.
