UL 1-20 Waterford 0-18:The University of Limerick advanced tothe quarter-final against Clare following a deserved five-point win over Waterford at Carriganore.

The students produced a fine second-half display, with corner forwards Kieran Morris and Waterford native Eamonn Murphy prominent while subs Conor Ryan and Tommy Heffernan contributed three late points.
