Manchester United's 2-1 defeat against Deportivo La Coruna is the latest symptom of the travel sickness which has plagued them since they won the Champions League in 1999.

Since then United have won just four of the 15 away matches they have played in Europe. More worryingly, United's loss in La Coruna means they have won just one of their last 10 games and lost four of their last seven.

Apart from Sturm Graz, the only teams United have managed to beat in the last three seasons have been Croatia Zagreb and Bordeaux.

AWAY DAY BLUES: 1999 - Sep 22nd: Sturm Graz, won 3-0. Oct 19th: Marseille, lost 1-0. Oct 27th: Croatia Zagreb, won 2-1. Nov 23rd: Fiorentina, lost 2-0.
