Waterford won their sixth successive Munster senior title at Dungarvan yesterday to set up a meeting with arch-rivals Monaghan in the All-Ireland semi-final. Two goals from Aine Wall and one apiece from Geraldine O'Ryan and Mary O'Donnell saw Waterford lead 4-6 to 1-2 at halftime and Claire Ryan and Niamh Barry added two more in the second half.
Susan Power from a penalty and Mary O'Connor goaled for Cork.
