Scarlets v Ulster: MATT WILLIAMS has made two changes to the rejuvenated Ulster team that beat Llanelli last week as they travel to meet the Welsh side in tonight's return fixture at Parcy Scarlets.

Paddy Wallace comes back into the centre with Paul Steinmetz named on the bench. Cillian Willis is ruled out after fracturing his cheek bone in training earlier this week.

Wallace's return is clearly a boost for an Ulster side that has begun to find some confidence in the way they play.

The province is looking for their fifth successive win in all competitions and their first in Wales in the Heineken Cup since 2003, when they beat Cardiff.

Williams has been effusive in his praise for defensive coach, Peter Sharp, who he brought from Australian Rugby League during the summer and feels now that his influence is finally telling.

He is also aware that, while Ulster has begun to once again make Ravenhill a difficult place to visit, they have yet to crack winning away from home.

"There are a number of challenges that I wanted to take on this year that were much more mental than physical," said Williams.

"Winning away from home in Europe and in the Magners League is something we have got to address.

"That we have never done it is not an excuse. It is completely irrelevant.

"For professionals, who have beaten Munster at home, Edinburgh at home and beat a very good Llanelli side at home and then to say 'ah but away we can't win' is not acceptable."

The Simon Easterby led side have a number of threats, not least of all the kicking of Stephen Jones. Discipline used to be an area where Ulster fell down and is certain to be punished if they suffer a relapse.
