WITH JUST under three weeks to the start of the Cheltenham festival, no one can accuse Ruby Walsh of taking things easy with five rides at today's relatively low-key Fairyhouse fixture including three over fences, writes Brian O'Connor.

One of those is in a Beginners Chase where he teams up with Tony Martin for Askmeroe although this should be a good opportunity for the Colm Murph-trained, 119-rated, Kimberlite King.

However, it should still be a good day for the champion jockey who rides Clear Gold for Willie Mullins in the two-mile handicap chase and the joint-topweight can go one better than his second to Battlefront at Punchestown last time.

Walsh looks a significant booking for The Corby Glenn in the other handicap chase, a poor race in which the Northern-based horse could be good enough based on two placed efforts at Down Royal.
