A 66th-minute try from flanker Eric Delreux sealed victory for Wanderers as they ran out 23-15 winners against Old Belvedere in this AIL Division Two encounter at Lansdowne Road last night.

Both sides seized control for extended periods but Wanderers got in for three tries while Belvedere failed to cross the line.

Belvedere did go into a 9-0 lead within 24 minutes and although they went behind, remained in the hunt with two penalties in the 55th and 59th minutes until Delreux took control of the proceedings for Wanderers.
