League of Ireland:Their rousing FAI Cup third-round replay win on penalties in Sligo on Tuesday - a trip manager Gareth Cronin said they needed like a "hole in the head" - has helped ease Waterford United's fatigue as their strength in depth is tested for tonight's Munster derby with Cork City at the RSC.
"Cork were probably laughing all the way to the bank when they realised that we only got out of Sligo at 11 o'clock on Tuesday night," said Cronin. "But I have the luxury of being able to bring two into the squad - Alan Kearney and Dave Mulcahy, two good players."
Weariness aside, injuries, suspension and ineligibility press Waterford's panel further as Cathal Lordan can't play as part of his loan agreement from Cork, while Kenny Browne and John Hayes are injured and Robert Brosnan is suspended. Mulcahy is likely to slot into the back four alongside David Breen with Kearney coming into midfield.
Cork manager Damien Richardson, who serves a one-match dugout suspension, has striker Denis Behan back fit and in contention to start, though winger Liam Kearney is a doubt with a knee injury.
Bohemians come up against what manager Sean Connor sees as the benchmark his side need to reach next season in leaders Drogheda United at Dalymount Park.
Nine points clear at the top, the title is Drogheda's to lose, while Bohemians are 14 points behind in fifth place.
"I'm satisfied that I'm building a squad capable of competing for a title and I see this as an opportunity to test ourselves against a clinical and resolute team," said Connor.
First-choice defenders Des Byrne and Liam Burns come back into the Bohemians squad.
Shane Robinson, Stuart Byrne and Jason Gavin all shipped knocks against Galway on Monday and are doubts for Drogheda, though winger Richie Baker (hamstring) is definitely out.
Shamrock Rovers report that their captain Aidan Price may be back for the last month of the season as his foot injury is healing well.
Fellow defender Barry Ferguson is suspended for tonight's clash at UCD, while manager Pat Scully waits on midfielder Eric McGill (hip).
UCD have striker Paul Murphy back fit again, but give fitness checks to defender Alan Mahon and midfielder Ronan Finn.
Galway United manager Tony Cousins wants their draws at UCD and Drogheda to be the catalyst for a first home win of the season when they host Sligo Rovers.
"We won't be patting ourselves on the back," said Cousins after Monday's 2-2 draw at leaders Drogheda. "The bottom line is our home form has been terrible. We've got to bring those fighting qualities into our home form and get that win."
Stephen O'Flynn is suspended with Vinny Faherty and Barry Moran in contention to partner Derek Glynn up front. Defender Regi Nootimer remains out with injury.
Sligo wait on central defender Gavin Peers who hurt an ankle in the cup exit to Waterford on Tuesday.
Suspension deprives Bray Wanderers of their captain Clive Delaney and midfielder Mark Duggan for their trip to Derry City.
Colm Tresson's heel injury leaves him doubtful, while Paul Dunphy (wrist) and Derek Tyrrell (hand) remain out. Midfielder Paul Caffrey and striker John Broderick are available again.
Derry right back Eddie McCallion is suspended, but midfielder Barry Molloy returns from a ban.
