Waterford United star PJ Banville is putting his soccer career on hold to assist the Wexford senior footballers. Banville was an ever-present in the Blues squad that reached last year's FAI Cup final.
The 19-year-old shone for the Wexford under-21s this season, scoring 2-1 in their championship loss to Westmeath. "While I fully understand there is no certainty in making the Wexford senior team, I'm prepared to give it my best shot," Banville said.
Tipperary Camogie County Board PRO Marion Graham has resigned her position stating that she can "no longer work within the confines of Tipperary camogie". Graham had 23 years unbroken service with the county board.
