American Brian Watts birdied the second hole of a play-off with Japan's Toshimitsu Izawa to win the Casio Open in Ibusuki, Japan yesterday.
Watts and Izawa, both starting the final round one shot off the pace, forced the play-off after birdies on the final hole. They each shot 68 for totals of 14-under-par 274.
The two players grabbed birdies on the first hole of the play-off but Izawa missed a 10-footer for a birdie on the par three 17th, while Watts sank a six-footer to secure his first win since finishing as the surprise runner-up at the British Open last July.
