A look ahead to all the weekend's action
Today
Armagh SFC Semi-final (replay)– Crossmaglen Rangers v St Patrick's Cullyhanna, Silverbridge, 4.30pm – After last week's scintillating draw, Cross will again be favourites with Cullyhanna forward Robbie Tasker suspended as is Crossmaglen's Jamie Clarke.
Kildare SFC Semi-final– St Laurence's v Sarsfields, Newbridge, 4.30pm – Champions St Laurence's take on another unbeaten side after both had clear-cut quarter-final wins. The Larries to march on.
Tyrone SFC Semi-final– Coalisland v Kildress Wolfe Tones, Dungannon, 5pm – Damien O'Hagan's Coalisland should be strong enough to withstand the challenge of Kildress, who are in their first semi-final since 1977.
Tomorrow
Cork SHC Semi-final– Glen Rovers v Douglas, Páirc Uí Chaoimh, 3.30pm – The city clubs came through thrilling quarter- finals after a replay and extra-time respectively. Douglas in their first year back in senior subdued CIT whereas the Glen found the scores even with Patrick Horgan kept scoreless from play and can go a step farther here.
Derry SFC Final– Ballinderry v Coleraine, Celtic Park, 3.45pm – Ballinderry are the most successful Derry club of recent years, whereas unheralded Coleraine are relative novices, just a couple of years in senior.
The good news about Enda Muldoon’s suspension being lifted as well as the availability after injury of other key players such as Barry McCusker and Collie Devlin gives Ballinderry the edge.
Donegal SFC Final– Naomh Conaill v Killybegs, MacCumhaill Park, 4pm – This is a relatively novel affair. Naomh Conaill haven't won the title for five years, but Killybegs have been controversially weakened by injuries picked up in a league match. The Glenties club is accordingly favoured to win.
Fermanagh SFC Final– Roslea Shamrocks v St Patrick's, Brewster Park, 3.30pm – Roslea slipped up when favourites against Derrygonnelly last year. This time they face St Pat's, champions two years ago, but currently in Division Two. Roslea to make amends.
Kildare SFC Semi-final– Moorefield v Athy, Newbridge, 4.30pm – Favourites Moorefield come up against a young Athy side, who have been the surprise team in the championship. Moorefield's experience should carry the day.
Laois SFC Semi-finals– Portlaoise v Stradbally, O'Moore Park, 2.30pm; Arles-Kilcruise v Graiguecullen, O'Moore Park, 4pm – Leinster champions Portlaoise are strongly tipped to progress. Ex- Wexford and Carlow manager Paul Bealin is in charge of Graiguecullen and they might just get past last year's finalists Arles-Kilcruise.
Limerick SHC Final– Emmets v Kilmallock, Gaelic Grounds, 3.30pm – Kilmallock's strangle- hold at underage in recent times (just denied a fifth successive under-21 this year) is at last emerging on the senior scene.
Under Tony Considine, the club has put in a fine campaign to date, demolishing Na Piarsaigh, who in turn had put out holders Adare.
Anchored by captain, centre back and last year’s All Star nominee Gavin O’Mahony, the club – last successful in 1994 – take on improving divisional side Emmets, last year’s beaten semi-finalists.
Kilmallock are more adept at taking longer-range scores and they can bridge the 16-year gap.
Kerry SFC Semi-finals– Dingle v Austin Stacks, Fitzgerald Stadium, 2pm; South Kerry v Dr Crokes, Fitzgerald Stadium, 3.30pm – This is Dingle's first time reaching this stage in almost 60 years and, if not the occasion, they may find the opposition too much for them. The second game is a repeat of last year's county final, which South Kerry won by a single point. It's likely to be just as close this time.
Wicklow SFC Final– Rathnew v Baltinglass, Aughrim, 3.45pm – The two clubs that have, at different stages, dominated the past two decades in the county meet in tomorrow's final. Baltinglass beat last year's finalists St Patrick's in the semi-finals, but the greater craft and know-how of the champions can give Leighton Glynn and co back-to-back titles.
Westmeath SFC Final– Garrycastle v Mullingar, Cusack Park, 3.30pm – Mullingar, who are chasing a first title in a decade, defeated their opponents earlier in the championship. But last year's Leinster finalists have proven performers such as Des Dolan, Doran Harte and Paddy Mulvihill and won't be easily dislodged.
Wexford SFC Final– Castletown v Kilanerin, Wexford Park, 3.30pm – Matty Forde was prominent in Kilanerin's win over St Anne's and they will try to squeeze another title out of the team at the expense of emerging Castletown. Form and experience points to Kilanerin.
