Dermot Weld ended Galway at his customary position on top of the trainers' table and can illustrate his eagerness to do the same at Tralee this week with a treble on the opening day.
Moving On Up missed out on a run in the Galway Hurdle because of the ground but conditions should now allow him a first-rate chance in the £15,000 Patsy Byrne Hurdle.
Before Galway, Tony McCoy's mount ran Lawz to a length in a 10-furlong flat race at Cork in May and hasn't appeared over flights since Punchestown in April. A cut in the ground will suit him and Moving On Up looks a decent bet to beat the Galway and Tralee winner Cloda's Minstrel as well as Wonder Will He who look dangers in a competitive field.
Weld's Ideal Plan may not appreciate the ground as much in the handicap chase but should now be sharp enough for revenge on Honey Trader while the Darshaan filly Gifts Galore will not have to be extra special to make a winning debut in the mile maiden.
Ruby Walsh's mount Three Rivers is the selection in the opener and the Fairyhouse runner-up Gothic Theme can maintain John Murtagh's good recent run in the last.
