PRE-SEASON FRIENDLIES: AN EXPERIMENTAL Connacht lost at the Sportsground last night. London Welsh got an early boost with a try, but Connacht responded on 22 minutes with one from Conor Muldoon.
The visitors got a second to lead 12-5 at the break, but Gavin Duffy reduced the deficit on 57 minutes and outhalf Ian Keatley added the extras to put the sides level with 20 minutes remaining.
London Welsh scored another try on 61 minutes to grab the win.

ULSTER GOT their season up and running with an impressive victory at Ravenhill last night.
The disappointment of last week's reverse to Bath was forgotten by the crowd of 5,292 as second-half touchdowns by Rob Dewey, Chris Cochrane and Timoci Nagusa eased Matt Williams's side to victory.
Thomas Anderson, son of the former Ireland captain Willie, gave a storming display from the blindside flank.
