ALL-IRELAND SFC QUALIFIERS ROUND ONE Wexford 4-22 London 0-9:WEXFORD'S CAMPAIGN is back on track after an expected facile victory at sun-drenched Ruislip yesterday.

After the disappointment of narrowly failing to Dublin in the Leinster quarter-final, Wexford were back on song after first-half goals from PJ Banville and wing back Aindreas Doyle enabled the visitors to build up a deserved 2-12 to 0-4 half-time lead.

London were never in contention after the first of PJ Banville’s brace of goals in the eight minute.

It was all one-way traffic for the visitors for the reminder of the half, with five points from Mattie Forde and two each from Shane Roche and Ciarán Lyng in reply to scores from Brian Smyth and Derek Hayden for London.
