Kildare's Billy White was quick off the mark with three points and his side were four points ahead by the time Jonathan O'Neill got Wicklow's first score. Wicklow were back on level terms after second-half points from David Moran and Joe Murphy and they finished with a late flourish, scoring four points without reply to secure victory.
