Wolves will not let the controversy over their FA Cup fourth-round equaliser against Sheffield Wednesday deflect their aim of dumping the Owls out of the competition in tonight's replay.
The referee's assistant ruled that Steve Sedgley's header at Hillsborough had crossed the line after hitting the post, but television replays seemed to back the claims of Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Pavel Srnicek that he had kept the ball out.
But Wolves assistant manager John Ward said: "The decision went our way and what we have now is the opportunity to try and progress."
However, Sheffied Wednesday manager Danny Wilson wasn't so happy about the decision and is looking to build on Saturday's 2-0 win over Bradford with a place in the last 16. Wilson, who has doubts surrounding Niclas Alexandersson (back), Andy Booth (groin) and Petter Rudi (Achilles), is hoping his side can right a wrong. Wolves will be forced to make at least one change to the side which came back from 2-0 down to defeat Portsmouth 3-2 on Saturday as Kevin Muscat is serving a one-match ban.
But striker Ade Akinbiyi will feature despite fears he could be ruled out for several matches because of the African Nations Cup. Akinbiyi has been left out of Nigeria's final squad of 22, boosting Wolves' hopes of securing a Division One play-off place.
