Tiger Woods has received some strange requests in his time but the forthcoming birth of his first child has even his agent, Mark Steinberg, scratching his head, writes Brian Keogh.
The International Management Group representative reported yesterday that his office is packed to the rafters with gifts from fans for the eagerly-awaited Tiger cub.
But a bizarre offer to film the birth met the same response as an interview request by the English language version of Al Jazeera, the Qatar-based TV station.
Steinberg said: "There's just been so many gifts and cards that have arrived to my office addressed to Tiger and his wife.
"He's receiving all sorts of good luck messages plus letters suggesting names and even one bizarre request to film the birth.
"But Tiger and his wife are handling things well as any new parents would though they haven't gone as far as having a room painted out either blue or pink."
Colin Montgomerie joked yesterday he'd like to see Woods have four children this year - each at the same time as the Majors.
The Scot said: "It would be nice if Elin had quadruplets nicely space out throughout the year.
"Perhaps the first in April, the second in the middle of June, the third in July and the fourth in the second week of August! We might have a chance then."
