The FA Cup produced another magical night as 10-man second division Wycombe booked a quarter-final clash at Leicester after winning 8-7 in a penalty shoot-out.
Lawrie Sanchez returned to his former club, Wimbledon, and saw his second division side pull off one of the most remarkable results on a night of high drama, which included a red card and a missed penalty in injury time.
It took 20 penalties to finally separate these two battlers in a dramatic shoot-out. But when Wimbledon's Mark Williams sent his spotkick over the bar, it was the signal for Wycombe to celebrate.
Wycombe came back from an early goal down, were reduced to 10 men after 70 minutes, and survived a missed penalty in injury time, before somehow finally winning on penalties.
Gareth Ainsworth's breakaway goal after 11 minutes was equalised by Dave Carroll after 31 minutes. And two goals in extra-time from Wimbledon's Wayne Gray and Paul McCarthy set up the amazing penalty shoot-out.
