RACING:IT is 33 years since an Irish horse – Captain James – last won Goodwood's Betfair Celebration Mile but Zoffany and Famous Name could get the opportunity to change that this Saturday.

Both horses were among the 11 entries left in the Group Two event yesterday and Paddy Power rate Aidan O’Brien’s Zoffany as the main threat to their 9 to 4 ante-post favourite Strong Suit. Zoffany was unplaced in the Prix Maurice Du Gheest at Deauville on his last start but before that was twice runner-up at Group One level over a mile. Famous Name was also runner-up at the top level in a 10-furlong race in Munich on his last start.

Also engaged in Saturday’s race is last year’s winner Poet’s Voice and Strong Suit’s stable companion Dubawi Gold.
