Property investment company Kennedy Wilson has signed the last tenant for its Kildare Street office development, bringing the property to full occupancy.
The milestone for the development comes despite a challenging commercial property market that has recorded one of the highest vacancy rates in Europe.
The seven-story office development at 20 Kildare Street has signed up tenants that include Aircastle, Ara Partners, Consello, Davidson Kempner Capital Management, Dentons, Egon Zehnder, and Lanthorn. The long-term leases bring the annual rent roll for the building to about €4 million a year.
“Achieving full occupancy at 20 Kildare Street is a testament to the hard work of the Kennedy Wilson team and the exceptional quality of this office development a significant achievement given the office market backdrop,” said Mike Pegler, president of Kennedy Wilson Europe. “This milestone builds on our letting momentum in Dublin’s office market, underscoring our ability to consistently deliver high-quality projects that meet the needs of a sophisticated local tenant base.”
The 65,000-square-foot office development, which restored the historic facades of the Georgian building and and added a triple-height glazed atrium, Is full electric and operates with renewable energy. It meets a range of sustainability credentials, including Nearly Zero Energy Building Compliant (NZEB), A3 BER, LEED Gold and WiredScore Platinum.
