A woman in her 50s has been found dead at a house in Co Limerick.
The body was discovered at approximately 5.10pm on Monday at a residence in Templegreen in Newscastle West, gardaí said.
The body remained at the scene on Monday evening and the scene was being preserved for technical examination.
Gardaí said the Office of the State Pathologist had been notified and a postmortem examination would be arranged, the results of which would determine the course of the Garda investigation.
