An Irish man is understood to have died in Ukraine.
The circumstances surrounding his death were unclear on Tuesday night.
A spokesman for the Department of Foreign Affairs said it was aware of the case and was providing consular assistance.
“As with all consular cases, the department does not comment on the details of any individual case.”
