Dublin’s “Black Santa” will continue his “sit-out” for Haiti at St Ann’s Church on Dawson Street today and tomorrow. The Rev David Gillespie, vicar of St Ann’s, will continue his sit-out this morning from 9.30am until 6pm today and tomorrow.

Usually the “Black Santa” sit-outs for charity take place before Christmas and last month raised €17,500 for the St Vincent de Paul Society, the Bishops Appeal for Third World aid and development, and other Dublin charities.
