Man taken to hospital after aggravated Dublin burglary

Men broke into Tallaght house at 7am and assaulted two people during robbery

A man has been taken to hospital with injuries after an aggravated burglary at a house in Dublin today.

Gardaí said that a number of men broke into the house at Knockmore Grove, Tallaght at about 7am.

Two people in the house were assaulted during the robbery, gardaí said.

One of the occupants of the house, a man in his 50s, was taken to Tallaght hospital with his injuries, a Garda spokesman said.

Gardaí have sealed off the house for technical examination. Gardaí have not made any arrests so far in relation to the incident.

The exact number of men involved in the break-in is unknown. Gardaí have appealed for anyone with information to contact gardaí at Tallaght.
