Gardaí have issued an appeal after some 50 TVs and a safe containing cash was stolen from a shop in Lucan Retail Park.

At about 1.50am on Thursday, a car and a black van entered the retail park in Co Dublin. The burglars broke into a retail store and a number of suspects stole about 50 televisions, which were loaded into the van. The suspects also stole a safe with a small amount of cash in it, according to Gardaí.

Gardaí are calling for any potential witnesses who may have seen the vehicles in the early hours of Thursday morning to come forward.

The car travelling with the black van had several ladders tied to its roof, and gardaí believe this detail may have made the vehicles notable to members of the public.
