A man has died following a road traffic crash in Tallaght in the early hours of the morning.
Gardaí are investigating the incident, which occurred at about 3am at the De Selby Estate.
The man, who was in his late 20s, died when his motorcycle was involved in a collision. He was taken to Tallaght hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The scene is currently sealed off for forensic investigation.
Gardaí at Tallaght Garda station are appealing for any witnesses to the incident to contact them on 01-6666000.
Meanwhile, gardaí investigating a fatal road traffic collision in Emyvale, Co Monaghan yesterday have named the victim as Igors Korpacovs (49), a Latvian national from Oldcastle Rd, Newtownstewart, Co Tyrone.
Mr Korpacovs died after the milk tanker he was driving struck three houses on Main Street.
