Almost 200 people attended a protest against water charges in Nenagh, Co Tipperary on Saturday afternoon.
The protest, organised by the Nenagh & District Against Unjust Water Charges group, was also attended by anti-water charges groups from Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Waterford and Kerry.
Anti-Government slogans
Participants gathered at Nenagh railway station and walked to the offices of Minister for Environment Alan Kelly and Fine Gael TD Noel Coonan, where they chanted anti-Government slogans.
They then gathered at Banba Square for speeches.
Among the speakers was Sinn Féin local councillor and general election candidate Seamus Morris.
Derek Byrne of Dublin Says No, John Lonergan of the Ballyphehane Anti-Water Charge Group, and Mick White of the Nenagh group also addressed the crowd.
