Shaggy dog story of the ‘bored’ Scottish politician and his pooch

Politics can get boring, even for the politicians.

Nobody illustrated this better than the Labour Party candidate in Glasgow South Tom Harris, who is seeking re-election.

This weekend, he posted a video to his YouTube channel in which he admits that he is "bored with politics".

“Four days to go and I don’t know about you, but I’m really bored with politics now,” says Mr Harris.

“So here’s a video of a dog being dragged around on a carpet.”

Is this a cunning exercise in reverse psychology? Or is he just barking?
