Sir, – I see that to conserve water the washing of public transport vehicles, buses and trams, is being curtailed. Highly commendable in the situation we are in.
Would it not be more sensible though to have a washing system that filters and reuses the water – commercially available (not from me!) .
Better still, combine that with a rainwater storage system for the water supply too, then no need to use drinking quality water for the task at all, it really is a no brainer! – Yours, etc,
