Georgie Kelly scored twice to get Bohemians back to winning ways in the proverbial game of two halves at Bishopsgate as they came from behind to beat Longford Town 4-1.

Playing their seventh game in 23 days, Bohemians were on the back foot for much of the first half as Longford trooped off at the interval full value for Dean Williams’ 37th minute lead.

Bohemians regrouped at the interval and turned the game on its head within 10 minutes.

Just a minute in, Longford defender Mick McDonnell bundled Kelly to the ground to concede a soft penalty which Kelly duly blasted home.

Leftback Tyreke Wilson then put Bohemians in front with a sublime free-kick after Aaron Robinson had fouled Ross Tierney.

Kelly confidently slipped home his 18th league goal of the season when Dawson Devoy and Ross Tierney threaded him in on 79 minutes.

Substitute Jamie Mullins then helped himself to a belated 17th birthday present on 88 minutes when calmly side-footing home Conor Levingston’s cross.

Phoenix Patterson scored for the second week running to earn Waterford a 1-1 draw with Sligo Rovers at the Showgrounds.

Andre Wright put Sligo in front with a clever back heel on 42 Minutes after incisive approach play involving Niall Morahan, Greg Bolger and Johnny Kenny.

Waterford levelled four minutes into the second half. Prince Mutswunguma played Patterson through on goal with the Scot, who scored the winner against Drogheda United last week, delivering a composed finish.
