The Bank of Ireland website has been voted the number one website for a financial institution in the Republic and eighth among the top 50 websites in Europe by a Lafferty Group rating survey.

The website, which was designed by Irish e-business company Ebeon, has also won a Mouse award for "Best use of the Web in an integrated marketing campaign".

Mr John Evans, research editor at the Lafferty Group said the site offered useful and easily accessible content, very easy to navigate and of benefit to business and individual customers alike.
