IBEC has published a guide for employers called The Euro and Human Resources. It advises them on how to minimise any disruption or confusion in the workplace caused by the introduction of the new currency.

Amongst the advice offered is a suggestion that payslips carry monetary information in pounds and euros and that payroll systems switch to the euro at the start of the tax year, April 6th, 2001.
