Intel has acknowledged that its new Xeon Pentium II processor has a technical flaw in certain applications, a spokesman said from company headquarters in Santa Clara, California. But the company has solved the problem with a coded software correction, spokesman, Mr Manny Vara said. The problem will not delay the launch on Monday of the Xeon Pentium II processor itself, Mr Vara said, explaining that the problem is limited to the computers.
