BB-8 could arguably be the star of the show when it comes to Star Wars: the Force Awakens. The droid is cute, has personality and, from Disney's point of view, is a merchandise-shifting dream machine. So what could be better than owning your own (miniature) BB-8? Using the Force to control said BB-8.

Okay, maybe not quite the Force. But the Force Band is pretty nifty. Looking similar to a fitness tracker or digital watch, it translates your gestures into movement instructions for BB-8. Push and pull BB-8, command it to turn; it’s all very Jedi-like. It means you have no need for the app, and it’s far more fun than poking at a screen. The Force Band will launch later this year.
