Hot on the heels of UPC's new Horizon box, Sky is also giving its equipment a bit of an update. The company is offering new Sky+ boxes to users, with Sky+HD and Sky+HD 2TB boxes both coming with built-in wifi.
Before now, the boxes needed an extra connector to access wireless networks, meaning an extra expense for customers with less-than-conveniently-placed broadband modems.
The 2TB box will store up to 350 hours of high-definition content, so the risk of running out of space is a little less threatening than it used to be.
