Tweetbot for iPad
Regarded by many as the best Twitter client for the iPhone, now Tweetbot has arrived on the iPad and brings with it plenty of functionality. It has a gorgeous interface but more importantly, a mute function.
Do you enjoy following certain people but wish you could avoid their constant Foursquare updates?
This app is perfect because it can tweeze out tweets from specific people, topics or Twitter clients without having to unfollow.

Matthew Broderick’s day off: the reprise
The American Superbowl is as much about the ad breaks as it is about the sports action.
This year the clear winner was Honda with a homage to Ferris Bueller where a grown-up Matthew Broderick takes a sick day from shooting movies, in the automobile company’s new 2012 CR-V, natch.
This is worth watching purely for the nostalgia of Yello’s Oh Yeah soundtrack. Genius.

BOOKMARK
Pinterest to share your online interests
Pinterest is a new online community that has already gained over 10 million registered users and is being called Reddit for women. The premise is simple but addictive. It’s a place to share or “pin” images or other interesting links you find on the web. It feels a bit like it was designed to appeal to people with short attention spans but it never gets boring. This is invite-only but once you request an invite Pinterest is fast; it’s sent out within a day or two.
