Cityjet plans to begin recruiting 10 trainee pilots in June who will ultimately fly routes on its expanded Irish and European network.
The regional airline announced plans earlier this for a cadet programme to train pilots for its new routes and on Tuesday it said that it would begin recruiting 10 trainees in June.
Once they have successfully completed their training, they will work for the airline, which now has bases in Dublin, London City Airport, Paris, Stockholm and Helsinki and, later this year, Amsterdam.
CAE Oxford Aviation Academy will provide the initial training of cadets in Oxford in Britain and Phoenix Arizone in the US.
Cityjet's director of operations Robert Tatten said: "Cityjet has undergone significant growth in recent months, with, in addition to our Avro RJ85 fleet, eight Bombardier CRJ900s joining our new Nordic network and the arrival this summer of our new Superjet SSJ100s".
