Ingredients
- 350g mackerel fillets (200g when all skin and bone removed)
- ½tsp finely diced red chilli
- 1tsp toasted sesame oil
- ½tbs pickled ginger, finely chopped
- 2tbs light soy sauce
- 1 spring onion , trimmed and finely chopped
- A little black pepper
- 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds
1 Mix all the ingredients except the sesame seeds together. (I haven't added salt as the soy sauce will do the seasoning.)
2 Chill for an hour.
3 Serve with the sesame seeds sprinkled on top and a piece of brown toast.
