The Department of the Environment has a new website aimed at developers and builders interested in bidding for some of the State's much-vaunted Public Private Partnerships. It will provide up-to-date information on developments in policy and projects. A project tracker of all approved PPP projects within the remit of the Department of the Environment and Local Government gives project descriptions, costings and timescales. Briefing notes, press releases, guidance and circulars are to be included.

The site is likely to be useful to companies interested in keeping track of the PPP process and will include listings where companies will be able to put up information regarding their interest in PPP. It also shows contact details for personnel involved in various PPP projects. Answers to frequently asked questions from site users will be published on the site. Current PPPs listed include details on the water services contracts and roads.
