London - A previously unknown draft of one of the key chapters in Irish author James Joyce's masterpiece Ulysses is expected to fetch up to £1.2 million pounds sterling (£1.7 million) at auction later this month.
The heavily edited 44-page manuscript of the Eumaeus chapter, written in the author's own hand in Trieste and Paris between 19161920, goes under the hammer at Sotheby's in London on July 10th, with a guide price of £800,000 to 1.2 million sterling.
