Mayville - Health officials in western New York said yesterday that a HIV-infected man had spread the deadly infection to at least 11 people, some of them unwitting teenagers with whom he traded drugs for sex.
A total of 98 people are under investigation for having had sexual contact either directly or via a third person with the 20year-old infected man, said Health Department officials in Chautauqua County, New York. Twenty-eight of those cases involved women.
