A cocaine haul worth €150,000 was seized at Cork airport last night after customs officials raised the alert.
Gardaí arrested a Belgian man attempting to enter the country with the drugs following a customs search that uncovered the illegal stash.
The man, aged in his late twenties, is being held at Togher Garda station in Cork.
