After the next election, David Andrews is retiring from politics. He made the announcement last night in Dun Laoghaire. His son, , is running in the local elections in Blackrock ward, so the plan is to get the next generation up and running. Chris Andrews, son of the minister's brother, the Euro MEP, is running in the Pembroke ward.
