The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Andrews, will meet President Mandela in South Africa today.
Mr Andrews will brief the president on recent developments in the peace process. They will also discuss developments in Europe and EU relations with South Africa as well as a range of international issues where Ireland and South Africa have many shared concerns, including East Timor, conflicts in Africa and the recent Indian and Pakistani nuclear tests.
